LOGAN UPDATE: Evacuations have occurred in Logan. These were not mandatory evacuations, but evacuations requested by residents. The Albert River, Logan River (South Maclean) Logan River (Waterford) and Maclean Bridge are expected to experience peaks within the next 18 hours. However, these peaks are not expected to force evacuations but will affect approximately 2950 backyards. Approximately 30,000 homes are without power. QUEENSLAND POLICE: The second body of a man has been located in the Sandy Creek area at Glen Cairn near Gatton this afternoon.
A search and rescue operation commenced after a vehicle was located in the vicinity yesterday afternoon.
The body of a man was also located in another vehicle in flooded Sandy Creek this morning.
Both men are yet to be formally identified.

QUEENSLAND FIRE AND RESCUE: Emergency services remain active coordinating the response and providing assistance to residents.
State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers have responded to approximately 332 requests for assistance in the 24 hours to 11.30am today. These jobs relate mostly to flood assistance, leaking roofs, roof damage and fallen trees.
Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) crews have completed more than 2,783 Rapid Damage Assessments (RDA) since 8am, Tuesday, 29 January 2013.
People are urged to remember "If it's flooded, forget it". Under no circumstance should people enter floodwaters by road or on foot.
